Paul Jones

Paul is the founder and director of Mackenzie Financial Planning.

Paul is passionate about the value of financial planning. He takes time to listen and understand clients, he has an ability to see the big picture and from complexity create clarity, bringing clients confidence, assurance and peace of mind.

Paul is an expert in the strategic construction of a client’s financial plan, and will work diligently to find the most appropriate solution to a client’s financial situation.

One of the highest qualified financial planners in the north-west, Paul is one of only 950 planners in the UK to hold the prestigious Certified Financial Planner commendation, in addition to various other specialist qualifications far exceeding the requirements for UK financial advisers.

In 2010 Paul was approached by the board of the Institute of Financial Planning, intending to set up a regional branch of the national institution. Paul rose to the challenge, accepting the role of chair for Lancashire and Cumbria, with a focus on education and ethics Paul has established a thriving community of similarly-minded, highly qualified financial planners. He has recently been voted branch chair for his third consecutive year.

Paul also works closely with other professional advisers in the legal and accountancy communities providing financial advice to clients.

Many of Paul’s clients are introductions from existing clients and other professional advisers.

Paul’s personal values of work ethic and personal development mean that he will often be found studying for his next qualification, or reading to enhance his technical and professional knowledge. He also enjoys discovering the hidden delights of our local area with a local walking club.
